Civil cases whether contested or uncontested are generally heard on Mondays and Thursdays during regular court weeks (non-jury weeks) in all parishes unless preempted by a legal holiday.

Felony arraignments, motions and trials are heard on Wednesdays 9:30 a.m. Misdemeanor arraignments, motions and trials are heard on Tuesdays during regular court weeks unless preempted by a legal holiday.

Jury weeks are reserved for criminal petit jury trials, civil jury trials and special bench trial settings.

Protective Order Hearings are generally held each week on Friday unless it is scheduled on a non-support court day.
